The little explorers in your class will love getting to create and investigate some fun bug sensory bottles! These ideas are yet another great addition to your master list of sensory bottles.

I don’t know about you, but I sure know a ton of preschoolers who are fascinated with bugs. I can’t say that I share in their fascination as an adult. But I do remember always searching for bugs in the backyard as a kid.
I love fostering the kids’ interest in bugs by taking them outside and letting them explore. Sometimes I’ll give them a magnifying glass to see how many different types of bugs they can find. Other times, the kids take the initiative to explore on their own, showing off their caterpillars on sticks to anyone who will look!
Why not let the kids discover bugs inside in the form of sensory bottles?! That’s why I’ve created a list of some of my absolute favorite bug discovery bottles!
To be clear, when I say “bug” sensory bottles, I’m not talking about anything in particular. I’m mainly just referring to very small creatures with legs, who live outside. (That’s my personal preference, anyway!)

Regardless of what these creatures are classified as, the kids will really get a kick out of making and exploring the buggy sensory bottles. And, not to mention, they’ll learn so much along the way!
