I like to include plenty of art activities in each of the preschool themes we cover in the classroom. But there’s something really special and fun about creating art and crafts based on a particular holiday – especially Halloween!
Why Make Art with Kids This Halloween?
Kids are often so excited about Halloween. And the spooky activities are usually an instant hit in the classroom. And Halloween art projects? Even better! They give the kids a fun theme to stick to while also lending them the freedom to create as they see fit.
There are so many ways to be creative while celebrating Halloween. And I think that’s why it’s my favorite holiday! And maybe that’s why the kids love it so much, too (but the candy part certainly doesn’t hurt!).
Halloween is full of some unusual and slightly creepy things. Which are just another avenue to allow kids to think outside the box and get super creative.
