Our Favorites
Of course I have to start off with our most favorite free winter printables! These are the winter ideas that I’ve used with kids for years. So I know how well-loved they are!
Start off by making a name snowman with each of the children in your class. This can be done using various craft materials, the included printable, or a combination of both.
Next up, use these winter calendar numbers for oh so many math activities! They’re perfect for the calendar, counting, number identification, and one-to-one correspondence.
The Mitten printable emergent reader is such a fun way to explore early literacy skills. And what a good way to extend a unit on Jan Brett’s book!
Break out the dice for a printable snowman game that lets the kids practice early math skills in a super fun way. I’ve found that the children seriously love any games that involve dice. What about you?
Pair these winter words for preschool with alphabet manipulatives. Then let the children work together to make winter-themed words together.
