Below you’ll find 15 heart crafts for preschoolers that are sure to delight the kids. I think they’re perfect for your valentine activities for preschoolers, family gifts, or even a friendship or kindness theme.

I love integrating process art into the classroom, and at home. In fact, I think it should really be the basis for preschool art on a day-to-day basis.
But I’m also a fan of crafts, too! As long as they aren’t of the “you must do them exactly the same way” variety. There’s a lot of room in crafts to let kids make choices, express their individuality, and be creative.
Crafts, like process art, allow children to explore different early learning concepts. Here are a few skills kids can practice while crafting:
- Multi-step directions
- Fine motor skills
- Color identification
- Creativity
- Shape identification
